Description by Irish Eddy

Irish Eddy

Just north of Warner Gap Hollow, MD, Hooligan and I met "Huurrn," a southbound thru-hiker. "Huurrn" said that he took his trail name from the Celtic god of the hunt. He said that he left Mount Katahdin, ME, on 09/15/09 and that he was averaging over 20 miles a day. He was in good spirits when we met him. If you should know "Huurrn," he wanted to let his mother know that he was all right. SoBo 1130.4. NoBo 1047.9.
