North of Wertzville Road, PA Route 944, the A.T. continues north along Ironstone Ridge toward Blue Mountain. Approximately 0.9 mile north of the tunnel, there is blue blaze for a side trail leading west to a piped spring. At this point, the A.T. also intersects an old, overgrown service road. and this wreck can be seen just to east of the trail.
