Mountains adjacent to Quandary Peak.
These are some pictures I took while attempting to summit Quandary Peak on 11-24-2008. A late start and snow conditions caused me to turn around. The mountain will always be there. "Getting to the top is optional, getting back to the bottom is mandatory" ~ Steady Ed Viesturs

Tom is that a small lake there in the middle? If so I might have to bring my fly rod and see if there are any brookies in there. -

If I remember correctly there are two lakes below the peak. I have been looking for pictures from my firrst attempt that ended with my brother from Ohio having altitude problems. I could have made it on the first attempt but I needed to get my brother down. I have better pictures of the lake(s) on my first try. I'll send them to you when or if I find them.
