A.T. Near Big Hill, PA, 11/25/11

For northbounders, approximately 0.4 mile north of the Woodrow Road crossing, the A.T. makes its southern-most crossing of Toms Run, and then parallels the east bank of Toms Run for approximately 0.7 mile along the west slope of Big Hill. This is a view of Hooligan and Misfit on the A.T. looking north from a location approximately 0.7 mile north of the Woodrow Road crossing. Due to heavy rains a few days before our hike, the trail was extremely flooded as we approached the Toms Run Shelters. SoBo 1090.4 NoBo 1088.7.
