Here's one of our Sherpas carrying gear up to our camp at Yak Karka above the village of Marpha in western Nepal 2004.
Our highest camp was 17,500' at Dhampus Pass that year.

    WOW that is the most breathtaking photo I have seen in a while. I sat here and looked at this for about 20 min.

    Thanks Little Bear. I have lots of great pix from Nepal but wasn't sure if it was cool to put them on whiteblaze.
    I have some video taken from this same spot with about 500 crows circling and filling most of the sky (at least in the framed video) We camped just above this spot to acclimate before heading up to 17,000'. A beautiful place named Yak Karka.
    It's not hard to take a good picture in Nepal. some say you could drop your camera, and it go off and you'd still be guaranteed a good pic. thanks for the praise.
