Approximately 1.2. miles north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76, and approximately 0.9 mile south of I-81, in Pennsylvania's Cumberland Valley, the A.T. crosses Carlisle Pike, also referred to as Harrisburg Pike, U.S. Route 11, via a concrete foot bridge. This is a view of the trail looking south toward the footbridge from the north side of U.S. Route 11.
