Yuk, they put a tin roof on this lean to.
I stayed here on my first AT backpacking trip in April 1973. We had not yet learned to clean up all the dinner dishes before we went to bed, so we were awoken by a mouse scrounging around in the dinner plates who just *loved* the spotlight. -

Is this Gren Anderson or Mashipacong shelter in NJ??

This is definitely the Mashipacong shelter in Stokes SF, NJ. I am the caretaker of this shelter.

Oh, Mashipacong not Gren Andersen. Nevermind, this shelter didn\'t exist in 1973.

When I wqas here in 2001 There was men working there with heavy equipment. They were dumping dirt and improving the area. They were very noisy and they threw up a lot of dust. There was also a solar toilet here. It looked real good, but I didn’t use it
