Top of Pike's Peak, day before Memorial Day 2007. VERY Cold. Air very thin. Too many tourons. There is a auto road, cog.rail and hiking approach with a hostel at midpoint. Visible to the south are the Sangre de Cristo range mountains in New Mexico.
