Baltimore Jack, Gene Espy, StarLyte on a cold Saturday afternoon at Trail Days. Gene Espy is the 2nd person to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail - at that time, Gene had never even heard of Earl Shaffer...in 1951.

met Gene Espy at Amicalola. He gave a presentation and had all his gear from 1951. Amazing stories. -
