For northbounders, north of Warner Gap Road the A. T. begins a 200 foot ascent from approximately 1150 feet elevation to 1350 feet elevation. After ascending the east slope of Buzzard Knob, the A.T. levels out for a short distance before descending 300 feet to Raven Rock Hollow. This is a view of the A.T. looking north from a location approximately 0.4 mile north Warner Gap Road, MD. SoBo 1130.2. NoBo 1048.1.
