It took a long while for us to slowly lower ourselves into this COLD water of Justus Creek, after a sweaty afternoon, on way from Hawk Mtn Shelter to Goock Mtn Shelter, GA, August 1, 2003. Rain Man on left.

love the photo...& can relate to the relaxing waters of Justus Creek....i was about spent in April 2002 when we happened upon this creek...my knee was already aching for the day, it was early (11am or so) & we paused here for an early lunch & a refreshing "sit" in the creek for about an hour....it gave me the rejuvenating energy to get thru the rest of my day!
