Hatman and I were there that day. Nimbelwill Nomad was entertaining some boy scouts with one of his poems, we had the pleasure of meeting and hiking the first few miles with Annie and the Salesman, and got to meet The Old Fhart, too. Any day on Springer is a good day, but that was a great day!

I met the Saleman in 03 while camped just below the summit of Moose Mtn, NH. DebW and I were hiking south towards Hanover and the Gathering. We didn't introduce ourselfs so I didn't know him until he got on stage during roll call and he told us about his wife and her death caused by a car while riding her bike. Sadly, he met the same fate a year later. Nice guy.
