    Great picture....really healthy looking snake...I'm happy to hear you helped the snake to safety..i hate seeing smakes like that dead on the road.
    That things got a great set of rattles.

    Or, hear about someone killing a snake out of fear, ignorance, or just plain ol mean-ness. I've hiked over 700 miles of the AT since '03 and have yet to see a rattlesnake on the AT. Kinda sad, if you think about it.

    Yeah, same here. The only snakes I've seen were dead snakes.
