This picture makes me consider calling work and telling them I'll be "out" for a while. I have a similar shot. Tim Homan in his book claims that Bob paid a grand total of $9.40 in 1872 for 100 acres including the bald. Homan also claims that the Frasier firs in the photo were planted in the 1950's. -

Do you remember the wild peacock that roamed the bald for several years recently? He'd visit me and beg for food. Haven't seen him in a couple of years. -
