Pictures from our NOBO hike from Hwy 50 to Princeton Hot Springs. We had planned for three days but made it in late on the second day.
This bull elk didn't move as we hiked past it. He just turned his head and kept an eye on us the whole time.

That "Buck" is a Bull Elk. They can have a bit of an attitude. -

I agree with the attitude thing but we never made a direct move towads him. I think we were watching him as much as he was watching us.
