Lamberts Meadow Shelter

This shelter is one of the less pleasant sites to camp in. Just nothing really pretty to look at in the area plus the water source is tainted IMHO. Better off staying in the Campbell shelter just south or pitching a tent north of this area.

I stopped here for lunch in October 2003, hoping for a pleasant location, and was sorely disappointed. Not much in the way of \"meadow\" besides a bunch of tall weeds. There are a number of great campsites and big flat rocks by the stream crossing just north of this shelter.
