Lyle, one great and wonderful thing about being and American is FREEDOM ! You are free to have your opinion. I am free to have mine.
There are places where fires are banned and there are places where you may not have beer. Fires and beer are not illegal where this photo was taken. Several friends got together after a long day. We built a big fire and enjoyed some cold beer.....and we enjoyed ourselves! I fail to see how friends enjoying themselves in the woods is "totally out of place".
