Just to the west of the A.T. and Mountain Road on the north bank of Yellow Breeches Creek is the Boiling Springs Pool. It was built in 1927 by Gilbert Malcolm, husband of Helen Bucher, a member of one of the founding families of Boiling Springs. The facility offers four pools and three water slides. They also have a full service snack bar and plenty of grass and shade areas, plus they offer hikers a shower for $1. This is view of the Boiling Springs Pool looking west from the A.T. and Mountain Road on the old stone bridge. SoBo 1067.6 NoBo 1111.7.
