Step 2 – Measure and cut the flashing to the correct height.
Measure the height of your stove and the distance from the bottom of your cookpot to just below its top rim. Add 1 ½ inches. An easy way is to just put the pot on your stove, hold the flashing against it to mark the height just below the rim of the pot, then add 1 ½ inches.
Scribe and cut as before.
