A classic view of Katahdin from in front of the library at Daicey Pond. The Hunt trail and the Abol Slide trail are very obvious frim this angle, and with binoculars you can see hikers on the Hunt Spur and at the Gateway. In 2002 the Park rerouted the AT away from the campground, so today's hikers will miss this wonderful sight. Shame.A super photo, Veteran!
