For northbounders, north of the Rocky Mountain Shelter the A.T. traverses through and around several large rocky outcrops while making a 3.0 mile descent to Caledonia State Park. This is a view from the trail looking west from a location approximately 0.3 north of the Rocky Mountain Shelter. Don't worry, the trail doesn't go through there. Hooligan just likes to climb rocks and explore tight spots. SoBo 1108.9 NoBo 1070.2.
