I can't believe this photo just appeared on the front page of Whiteblaze. This photo is valuable! If anyone reads this, Geek and Ziggy not only thruhiked together, but also canoed the Mississippi River together! Larry Luxenberg wrote about Geek & Ziggy and his book....Walking the Appalachian Trail. Thank you so much for posting this. I have a recent photo of the Geek here on Whiteblaze under my Trail Days 2006 collection. I never did catch up to Geek and Ziggy in 1990 I was about 1 month behind starting on May 5. I enjoy following some of the stories in the journals that year. -

What a great photo. I reckon my cat would have to slim down before I'd consider packing him along. I like the mice eradication feature, though.
