North of Carlisle Road, PA Route 34, the A.T. begins a gradual ascent from approximately 620 feet elevation to almost 1100 feet elevation. Approximately 0.1 mile north of Carlisle Road, the A.T. crosses an old logging road. This is a view of the A.T. looking south from the logging road. SoBo 1077.6 NoBo 1101.5.
