For northbounders, just north of the Reading Railroad crossing, the A.T. enters a clearing and Carlisle Road (PA Route 34) can be seen just to the east of the trail. This is a view of the A.T. looking south from the clearing. SoBo 1078.0 NoBo 1101.1.
