Rand's View Panorama Bear To Everett

The classic Panorama shot. Contrary to widely held belief, that is not Jug End at right of Everett, it's an unnamed 2050' peak, sometimes called Peak 1941 for a stone marker at its top, half a mile to the east of the Dome of the Taconics. Jug End (1490' at summit) is about three miles to the north-northwest, behind the much taller Everett (2602') and 1941, obscured by these neighbors. April 17, 2011.
