Thought I'd share my pain. Boots were broken in, Teva mids, and hike was awesome. Every step hurt after the forty mile point. I had to man up and keep going to accomplish my dream of finishing this section of my past Thru Hike from 2000. In retrospect, my friend Erik who hiked this section with me took note that I could use liner socks. After another week I will hit the trail again with liner socks I just purchased, silk ones. Hope this solves the issue. Any other suggestions are welcome.
