    In June 2006 I forded this river unsuccesfully...got swept downstream a short way and had to swim across to the other end. It was a wet year! The water level in the middle was chest deep and super fffffaaasssstttttt current. I held on to the ropes for as long as I could, but my feet couldnt stay on the slick rocks. What a blast I had.
