It doesn't show in this photo but all of these posts have a White Blaze on them. 3 to 4 feet high post are used to mark the AT across Max Patch Bald.

Land owners??? But they agree to let hikers come across their land, if they didn't want hikers coming across their land, they would simply withdraw their permission. No, this looks like an idiot or idiots hiking, not caring about their fellow hikers.
