The northern most shelter on the Long Trail, actually on the Journey's End Trail near the Canadian Border.
Sometime in the near future this camp will get a historic review and likely get moved to the GMC's headquarters in Waterbury Center. A new camp was built in October '03 about a half-mile closer to the northern terminus of the Long Trail.

I can't believe that this shelter is still around. In was decrepit in 1979!

Stayed here upon starting my thru hike '03. This camp is now 70 years old and I heard the GMC is planning on replacing it, but preserving the existing camp at their HQ site in Waterbury Center.
