For northbounders the side trail to the Rocky Mountain is approximately 1.7 miles north of the Mont Alto Road (PA Route 233) crossing. The shelter is located approximately 0.3 mile from the A.T. down the steep east slope of Rocky Mountain. This is view of the A.T. marker for the shelter. SoBo 1109.2 NoBo 1069.9.
