off of log cabin rd.. maybe 15 mi north of hot springs? there's a sign on the trail that says it's a .5 mi. i thought it was closer to a mile. it was worth it for us, as we were running low on supplies heading into hot springs. good backpacking food selection, sodas, snacks, etc. the woman who runs is hard of hearing.

i heard lukewarm reviews of those who stayed the night, though im not sure why.
