I brushed against something here on June 1, 2005 while walking through that tall grass and had an allergic reaction which several other hikers and I thought was poison ivy. My arm started to swell up, almost as if I had hives (although I've never had them before or since). Fortunately, Bjorn came by and offered me some Benadryl cream that seemed to calm things down.

Yea, I can see that area being out of control in the summer.
