i gotta say thnks solo he helpd me gather myself when i fell going into maine broke my shoulder surgery he carried my pack to the last NH shelter there was a side trail there i used to get to the hospital in gorham... cool pic rain man -

Yes, Solo was a neat guy. He hiked with me a good part of one day south of the SNP. I stayed in touch via his wife in Milwaukee till he finished his hike. Nice to hear such a good story about him, but am not surprised in the least.
