Approximately 0.5 mile north of the Old Town Road crossing and near the summit of Rocky Ridge, the A.T. negotiates a series of rock formations via switchbacks, crevices, and seams in the rock. This is view of the trail looking north at the first rock formation near the summit of Rocky Ridge. In addition to the white blazes, there are several arrows and other markings to help you find your way. This is a view from the trail near the summit of Rocky Ridge looking east.
