There's room for about 30 tents around that shelter. I'm really glad that we stayed at Hickory Flatts Cemetary after starting at Amicalola. Our second night, we camped atop Ramrock Mountain with a view of the Atlanta skyline in the distance.

I ended up staying at this one tent campsite on Ramrock Mountain with a great view.

My group of 3 camped atop Ramrock Mountain also (April 2004), with a lovely pre-foliage view to the Atlanta skyline, plus 3 small smoking forest fires that we later learned were intentionally set by some kid.
