Tarptent Rainbow. This was taken prior to a very windy, rainy night. March 3, 2008. Not too far off the BMT.

    Indeed. Complete with frog song all night despite the early March temperatures. No swimming this trip as my Polar Bear Club membership expired the day I turned 30...renewal could cause the heart to stop!

    I spend a day scouting out this pond area and found the nice little spring that feeds it and also found a great tentsite by the spring. On one summer trip I jumped into this pond and was careful not to stir up too much silt.
