Yellow Jacket... ...on Mt San Jacinto

I was lucky enought to spend 10 days in LA. One day my wife an I ran out to Palm Springs and hit this summit. Other than the feeling of being out of breath after walking 100yds and my head feeling like it was going to explode, it was the best hike I've ever done. Beautiful old forest with giant pines. Small patches of snow, 50-60F (102F down in Palm Springs), clear day.

This mtn is on the PCT, though the trail runs 1-2 miles around the summit.
