Wilfred Peele At PATC's New Year's Celebration At Allenberry, 1940s
This Boiling Springs annual event is believed to be a precurser to The PA Ruck.
My father, Wilfred Peele, is the tall guy on the left. He was trail maintainer for a section of the A.T. and the Little Devil's Stairs in Shenandoah, and served as PATC supervisor of trails in the 1950s.
