Moose Mountain Shelter 19?? to 2003 The original Moose mountain shelter was located ten miles north of Hanover between the two peaks of Moose Mountain, half a mile down a jeep road. A new shelter was built about 0.2 mile north of the jeep road in 2003 and 2004. The old shelter was burned on site. Photo date July 2003.
