Merger With East First Street, PA Rte. 174, Boiling Springs, PA, 06/14/13 For northbounders, approximately 0.1 mile north of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, the A.T. and East First Street, PA Rte. 174, intersect with S. Ridge Road to the west and Bucher Hill Road to the east. Just to the east of the trail on the southeast corner of the intersection is a small burial plot for the Bucher and Ege families, two of the founding families for the iron ore industry in Boiling Springs, PA.
