    How about massdrop.com?
    Be prepared to sign up.
Now, the real question is ...
Which Darn Tough socks are there? Without my scale, it's hard to tell them apart.

As noted, they are the Hiker Boot Cushion Socks. The description on Massdrop includes the product codes. Here are links to the specific socks on Darn Tough's website.

My apologies if this has been asked a million times. I just bought the 3-pack of merino blend hiker socks from Massdrop. I understand it can take some time before receiving my purchase because it's a group buy. I received an update that the socks are now in production. How long does it typically take to receive a purchase through Massdrop?

    Ummmmmm.....LOLOL!!!!

There is the Massdrop LOL...if you look carefully, before you join the drop, you will see the expected ship date. Sometimes it can be two months away. The expected ship date is the date the manufacturer drop ships the gear to Massdrop. Then, Massdrop breaks down the drop shipment, packages it, and posts it. That can take a week or TWO on top of getting the drop shipment. Often, the manufacturer has issues(which is why they are selling to Massdrop) and can't meet the production deadline. Then you are just screwed and have to wait. All the time getting nice emails apologizing for the manufacturer's delay, and please don't blame little ol' Massdrop!

Be sure to check around and make sure the Massdrop price WITH SHIPPING is worth the hassle. Often, you can find the same products locally for the exact same dollar, except for tax. Only sometimes is it worth Massdropping, only sometimes...

Meanwhile Backcountry Gear and REI on March 24 are selling one pair of Darn Tough socks per customer for 20% off.

I buy them $8 a pair at the annual factory sale. There are some smaller store owners that appear to buy for resale but its mostly folks like me who just buy a year worth of socks.

First two weekends of deer hunting season in Vermont (Early November). They don't advertise it heavily but folks from all over VT show up and wait in line to get in.

Is this a physical sale only, or do they also extend the sale via InterNet?
