March 21
Yes
Alright, I've finally convinced myself to commit to a round 2. Get ready, guys.
Trail name: I'll let what happens happen.
Direction: NOBO
Start date: Early March
Approach trail: I've done it too many times already
Yo yo yo, I'm a 25 yo piece of hiker trash from 'Bama, nice to meet y'all. If anyone leaving early March is looking to hit the trail hard while also having a frickin' delightful time due to my endearing, yet incorrigible self, feel free to pm me.
Happy trails! See you guys out there.
Why do you stay in prison
when the door is so wide open?
Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking.
Live in silence.
Flow down and down in always
widening rings of being.
Northbound, goal is second week of April. Trigger is 10 miles daily for 5 days. Plan to do approach trail. I was Reekie until I started grade school, Birdie since high school, see if I pick up another nickname once I'm hiking
Sharkbird, Basically, I'm deathly afraid of sharks and apparently i bob my head when i walk. Given to me in Tortel in Chilean Patagonia.

April 12 (official/ATC registered date) but I may come out early to knock out some miles and tweak my gear (no shelters reserved yet)
I wouldn't miss the approach trail although I may slackpack it to split the difference.
I also go by Swathhiker because I hike large swaths of the trail, much bigger than a section but not a complete thru (until this one). I have done Harper's Ferry to Hanover so many times at this point that often I can recognize parts of the trail by just a close up photo of a switchback. Sad.
I can't wait to see, and sure hope to see, some of my old-timer friends out there bumping around. I tore my MCL (knee side ligament) getting off the sofa, so I'll be the one cruising at .5 mph, which is why I may unofficially start in March to knock out some miles and fine tune my lightweight strategy.

don't have a trail name yet

going to finish before December
I used an internet link and got a registration number and an order number. What is the purpose of 2 numbers? Why do I need to print it out? Do all numbers begin with the letter T? Does this mean when I get my backpack weighed, I hand in my registration number and off I go? Thanks in advance
