Snow predicted over 2500 feet tonight in Northern NH. It will warm up this weekend so the snow will be melting and dripping from the trees at some point. Great conditions for unprepared folks to get hypothermia.
Yeah, well you think that's something? I had FROST on my windshield this morning!!!
Sunny and cool today.
2 to almost 3 inches of rain in the Western/Upper Valley of NH last night. Don't pitch your tent in a gully.
Just getting ready to book a condo for another attempt at the winter traverse next March. Can't wait!
Yep, we got some rain last night. Not as much as closer to the coast, but when the mountains funnel it all into one place, it adds up. Here's what our tame little Moose Brook looked like this morning. Up and over the spillway means a lot of rain in a short period. The spillway was put in after Iren took out the dam a few years ago. The trees are pretty much all naked now.

Looks a little frosty up there this morning. I think winter is quickly approaching the north country...

Got our famous view going here at the base. Snow across all the prezzies. Beautiful. mtwash.jpg
Enough cars at Appalacia today that they spilled out onto the highway. Hope they all had microspikes! 3 foot drifts on the auto road.
