    Smile Limericks and Haiku

Seeing as how limericks and haiku can both be very funny, I'd like for there to be a thread for posting such trail related nonsense.

    I'll start:

We have here a fine moderator
Who goes by the name Alligator
Not a hem nor a haw
    Ever slipped from his jaw
His pet food is a fresh hot potater.

    He laughs at your rage
    He's just rattlin' your cage
Till he slithers back down in his hole.

    Shouldn't segregate
    One man's words from another
    I call foul - where's Coach?

...and why are you in stealth mode???

my nethers cooled off I confess
till I met a young lass

    All hiking is fine
Even in rain hail or shine

There once was a fellow from Oz
Who came here to hike just because
    He stopped for a snack
    at the Pink Cadillac
and learned that it was what it was

Cool! It's "Pick On Oz" Day!

A hiker named Oz from Down Under
Was the subject of awe and some wonder
When he griped that his drink
Needed ice - in a blink
The heavens rained hail and some thunder!

When walking, one must put one foot in front of the other to procede
