route suggestions needed for my...

upcoming hike. My wife and I are hiking from Unicoi Gap to NOC on the AT. I plan to stay out longer. Was thinking about staying on the AT to Davenport Gap but am thinking of mixing it up a little by either a) going thru GSMNP on the BMT trail or b)hitting the BMT in the park just above Fontana and looping back south until ?.

any recommendations? Any/all input is appreciated. My hike begins Sunday and per Sgt. Rock, my guidebook was mailed today. Thx.

If you exit S. above Fontana, consider the Gregory Bald, Wolf Ridge, and 20 mile trails to bring you out at 20 mile ranger sta.
We did the loop yesterday which included the Long Hungry Ridge trail and those trails are lesser traveled than the AT and
clear except for 1 oak tree on the Wolf Ridge trail.
