My first attempt at a thru hike; I 've hiked as a Boy Scout leader in Philmont and a overnighter on the AT around Port Clinton,Pa. While in college 40 yrs ago I hiked up Katadhin in Me. I'm pumped to try to summit Katadhin again the long way via Springer Mountain.
