Thanks very much for your help. I'm finding this web site to be invaluable in helping me plan for an undertaking of this magnitude.

I'm thinking about doing the trail in '04. This site has helped alleviate my concerns about going it alone. I was trying to talk a co-worker into hiking with me. It seems like I'll meet plenty of people on the trail.
