Not sure if this is the right thread for this but here goes --

I'll be section hiking at the end of the month from Massie Gap to Damascus and was hoping for any update on water sources. We have identified sources on the guthook application, but want to make sure we know what to expect. I remember reading that it's a drought year?

70-80 temps right now in the lower elevations. There have been some descent heavy rain storms recently within the VA/TN/NC area.

That section is fairly reliable as the trail will be near major stream beds. Usually only long ridgetop trail will have issues in that area.
