Pretty funny. Reminds me of a few people I've actually met on the AT: "Ass Trumpet," "Cropduster," and "Fart Cloud." That comic isn't far off from real life ...

Y'all do realize you're laughing at real folks with this real problem, correct? I'm not sure what to make of that. Maybe nothing.

I have IBS and I thought it was funny, YMMV. I don't see it as making fun of someone with a medical issue, I see it as making fun of trail culture.

I have only let one person ever pick a name for me. Of course at the time I was in no condition to tell my Mom what to put on the birth certificate

A number of years ago I heard of a guy called Sock in Hole. Don't know if he was real, but it made for a funny story.

This was an 'art imitates life' piece. I have IBS and some friends were suggesting 'Squishy' as my trail name, but fortunately, that didnt happen. I appreciate the kind words, folks. I'll try to come up with another one. I'm planning on a thru hike out in Bankhead Forest next week, so I'm sure there will be some comedic material generated there.

I met a 'Ka-boom' once, with a similar origin to the name.

It's not laughing at people, it's laughing at life instead of crying about it. We can't take too serious...it's only temporary.

    Maybe you're over-reacting?
Is your name making fun of autistic people?
