I´m so excited and glad to meet you all!!
So we see us Saturday or Sunday on the Trail!
I'll be on the trail tomorrow for some training. Probably be camping up on top of Springer tomorrow night and doing a loop on the AT and BM trail so hopefully I'll see a few of you guys!
Bundle up ya'll, I live here near the Smokies, its been spitting snow all day here in the valley. I can see the snow up on the mountain tops. I wish I were coming with ya'll...someday
Cooooold night on Springer last night. It was about 16* when we woke up this morning, and probably not much warmer when we turned in. Probably about an inch or so of snow on the ground. Restless night of sleep with all my layers on in a 17* rated bag. Was warm other than my poor feet.
Saw a fair number of thru-hikers, and helped a few of them out when their filters froze with a ride into Dahlonega for a quick resupply (and got my trail name out of it. Hey!), dropped them back off at the trailhead and walked with them to Three Forks.
Razor was out doing the Ridge-Runner thing and it was good to see him out. There were some nice folks doing trail magic at Three Forks, as well.
Planning to head up to Springer next Saturday or Sunday morning with Donuts and Coffee if I can make it work.

Flying to ATL tomorrow! 2 days at Amacalola Falls Lodge then hike to Len Foote for 1 night then we're off!

Springer Mountain weather
Awesome weather this weekend, and it looks like it'll hopefully carry into next week. Did from Springer to Hawk Mountain shelter with a buddy yesterday, then hiked back out today. Lot of folks on the trail!
